Where was I last Saturday night? At home, as ordered by the State of Ohio. What was I doing? Dancing with more than 1300 clogging friends at the first Worldwide Clogging Fun Dance!
Jeff Driggs welcomed everyone to the fun dance by video message and credited Eric and Michelle Bice of California for inspiring the event in the first place.
Trevor DeWitt kicked things off in true clogger fashion with “Rocky Top,” and followed up with several popular fun dances. Naomi’s choreo to “Love Runs Out” is a favorite with my teammates at Fancy Free Clogging Studio.
Trevor’s interpretive dancing for the intro of “Hold Your Horses” inspired me to put that routine next on my list to finally learn. Okay, maybe it wasn’t really the interpretive dancing, but I have been meaning to work on that one.

Facebook says I’m already beat for tomorrow’s fun dance; some Kentucky cloggers created adorable Friends-inspired tee shirts.
Sheryl Baker ran the second leg of the fun dance and kept energy high with help from her daughters.
Thanks for reminding me how much fun Melissa’s “Clap Your Hands” routine is! I learned it last year at a workshop, and it’s going on the list, too!
The Bice family in California caught the virtual mic toss to finish out the fun dance. Eric jokingly gave a disclaimer that California is a “little bit weird” and some of the terminology might be different.
I didn’t know most of the routines in this part of the fun dance, but that’s okay! Following along is what you do at these things in real life; why not online?

Hanna Healy gave a closing message and reminded cloggers to tune in for another online fun dance every Saturday night at least for the next few weeks.
Hanna previously mentioned in the chat that she saved 5,000 steps from her daily step challenge to knock out during the fun dance. Pretty sure she clogged right past that number!
